What To Expect On Your First Visit

Brief Paperwork

You will be asked to complete a questionnaire which will provide us with some general information about you and your condition.

Assessment

During the initial visit your chiropractor will take a detailed health history and perform an examination focused on your spine, joints, muscles and nervous system. Other tests or reports such as x-rays may be requested when necessary. If chiropractic care is considered appropriate, a plan will be developed to meet your specific needs by incorporating a variety of treatment techniques.

Same Day Treatment

Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit.

Home Instruction

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on activities/procedures to be conducted at home. This may include instructions on the application of ice, avoidance of activities or positions, as well as exercises or stretches.
